Granite Quarry meets

GRANITE QUARRY — The Granite Quarry Board of Aldermen will conduct a public hearing at 5 p.m. on May 31 in the Granite Quarry Municipal Building to consider the following:

The Granite Quarry municipal budget for the coming fiscal year. The proposed budget will be presented to Town Board members at 5 p.m. today and will be available for public inspection in the Town Hall from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

Substantial changes may be made in the proposed budget as a result of debate, objection or discussion.

Persons with disabilities and non-English speaking persons needing special accommodations who wish to comment at the hearing must contact the Town Clerk's office at 704-279-5596 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting. The TDD number is 1-800-735-8262.

Faith meetings

FAITH — The Faith Board of Aldermen will hold two special meetings this week.

A meeting to discuss zoning issues will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Also, at 6 p.m. Thursday, board members will meet to discuss the upcoming fiscal year's budget.

The public is invited to the meetings, both of which will be held at Town Hall.
