Power outage pulls the plug on an evening at the movies
Tinseltown, the movie theater located at 305 Faith Road closed Sunday due to a power outage, an employee who answered the office telephone there Sunday night said.
The theater is scheduled to reopen today, he said.
Several people called the Post and authorities Sunday asking why the theater had closed. It's the only theater in Salisbury that shows first-run movies and on Sunday its lineup included "Charlie Wilson's War," "The Golden Compass" and "I Am Legend."
The unexpected closing disrupted plans for some folks who planned to catch the latest releases before Christmas.
