Hospice support groups

Morning support group

Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County will begin a new grief support group for adults starting Sept. 18 and ending Nov. 6 at the Hospice Center.

This group is free to the public and will run eight consecutive Tuesday mornings from 10-11:30 a.m. The purpose of the group is to help those in the community who have experienced the death of a loved one more than three months ago with their grief.

Grief support for adults

Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County will begin a new grief support group for adults starting Sept. 27 and ending Nov. 1 at the Hospice Center. This group is free to the public and will run six consecutive Thursday evenings from 6-7:30 p.m.

The purpose of the group is to help those in the community who have experienced the death of a loved one more than three months ago with their grief.

Bereaved parents support group

A Bereaved Parents Support Group begins Sept. 10 and ends Oct. 15 for six consecutive Monday evenings from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Hospice Center.

The groups are open and at no charge, to those in the community who have experienced the death of a child more than three months ago. The purpose of the group is to help people with their grief. This group will close to new members after the second week.
